Shipping

  • FREE SHIPPING ON ORDERS OVER $499!  For orders below, shipping is a flat fee $40 per box or $25 if you're in California.
      • *Free shipping does not count towards Saturday Delivery
  • CALIFORNIA SHIPPING $25 
  • We only Ship Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday*
    • *Friday has an extra $25 fee
  • We will email you a shipping confirmation along with your shipout date

  • All orders are shipped UPS Next Day Air Service 

  • Depending on your area, deliveries are made before 10:30am, 12:00pm,  or 3:00pm (your local time)

  • Exceptions to those who live in rural areas

  • Signature is not required for delivery

  • Expect an e-mail with your tracking number by 6:30 pm PST (9:30pm EST) on the day it ships out

  • Tip: Use your local UPS Customer Center or Local UPS Store (pick-up fee- call store).

    • 2. Climate controlled facility vs. in a truck in hot/cold days

Bagging & Boxing

  • Corals are first inspected for overall health

  • After inspection, corals are bagged in a clear poly bag

    • They are labeled by coral I.D.# that matches with your invoice

    • Then clipped with a high grade poly clip to ensure no leaks

  • Then our shipping staff checks off one coral at a time 

    • We then group them and place them in a bigger poly bag​​​

    • They are placed in a styrofoam lined box (box size depends on the number/size of corals)

    • shipping peanuts are used to ensure package is stable

  • Shipping staff determines an ice pack, heat pack, or none depending on multiple weather factors (current location, switch hub, and final destination)

Guarantee, DOA & Policy

  • We guarantee live arrival, in the unlikely event of a DOA (Dead on Arrival), we will need a clear digital picture within 2 hours of delivery.

  • (E-mail the pictures to aquasandiego@gmail.com) We may ask for you to ship back the deceased animal so please do not dispose of it. Once we receive the digital photo/s, and we receive the deceased coral (if applicable) we will issue you credit. We do not give refunds; we only give credit towards future orders. 

  • Guarantee is void if you refuse delivery of your order, or if no one is available to receive the package. Or package was not picked up from your UPS facility in a timely manner.

  • Aqua SD cannot be held responsible for mechanical or weather delays by shipping company

  • We can hold corals for up to a week once payment has been received.  Beyond that we are not responsible for the coral.  If you need us to hold the coral/s longer, please notify us prior to ordering to confirm we are able to do so.

  • We cannot guarantee replacement coral/s.

  • Purchases with credit do not count towards shipping (excluding gift cards)
  • We are not responsible for incorrect addresses given.
  • Shipping is non refundable​, no exception
