Description

The Chocolate Tang, also known as Lemon Peel Mimic Tang, Mimic Surgeonfish, Pacific Mimic Surgeon, Yellowspot Surgeon and Chocolate Surgeonfish, is fully yellow during its earlier stage in life before changing into its adult coloration where the body becomes more of a tan and it develops red accents around the eyes. Constant availability of seaweed is needed to maintain healthy tangs. We recommend using a clip or tying down sheets of nori to rocks.
